Equipping the church

Just like Paul said in Titus 1:1-3, we serve God in BYC to further the faith of the church and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness. This is in the hope of the eternal life, which God who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time and seen in the gospel of Christ. Furthermore, we do this so that the church may proclaim the hope to the world.

We are committed to seeing the biblical teachings in Titus 2 evident in the church. This includes teaching what is appropriate to sound doctrine, teaching men to be committed to gospel-centred leadership in the home and church; and women to be committed to their complementary roles in the home and church. We are also committed in teaching and promoting biblical principles for marriage and raising of godly children. We believe we must build-up each other in the church and continuously maintain true reformation. By so doing, we will be conditioned in the gospel, authentic and able to shine the light of Christ to the world. We will therefore continue to play our part in building-up each other in the church according to 1 Thessalonians 5:11 and 2 Corinthians 12:19.
